This section deals with the intended medium of the project and provides suggestions as to how participants can interact with it.
Quite simply put The Listening Line was designed for use with water. Water plays a large role in the project’s ideologies and paradigms, in the stories and their themes and in the physical mechanics of the project’s installations. As indicated in my artist’s statement, this online exhibition has forced a different type of interaction than originally intended. It is my hope that, as viewers of this exhibition, you will want to make the endeavour to experience The Listening Line as it was originally intended, with water.
