Artist Statement:
 
In this photographic diptych, found halftone images of sculptural forms have been adhered to glass and reproduced through the flattening qualities of a flatbed scanner. Taken out of context, these photo-fragments represent dual gestures of support and struggle.
 
Biography:
 
Jackson Klie is an image-based artist based in Toronto, Canada. His practice takes an expanded approach to photography through its use of collage, sculpture, and found imagery.
