Biography:
 
Tanea Hynes is a lens-based, settler artist from Labrador. Her work is critical of extractive industries and corporations in isolated places. Hynes draws on her personal experiences and upbringing in a Northern Canadian company town to create an intimate narrative of rural life under late-stage capitalism.
